Accessibility

The web version of The Value of Lakes Around the Secwepemc Territory has been designed to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, level AA. In addition, it follows all guidelines in Appendix A: Checklist for Accessibility of the Accessibility Toolkit – 2nd Edition.

This resource includes:

Easy navigation – A linked table of contents and headings in each chapter to make navigation easy.
Accessible videos – Videos with captions.
Accessible images – Informational images with alternative text, and decorative images with no alternative text.
Accessible links – Links with descriptive link text.
